The EIA-31 and TIA-31 series units use infrared absorption to provide continuous and highly accurate monitoring of composition changes of the specific components of compound gases. The units have few moving parts, provide accurate displays over the long term, and achieve highly stable monitoring. The units also use infrared analysis, which offers superior sensitivity, selectivity, and stability. The units safeguards incorporated into their construction that provide high levels of safety in potentially explosive environments. The units can be used for process control in a variety of industries, including smelting, mining, petrochemical, and biochemistry.
The integration of the analysis and operation instruments allows
easy maintenance and inspection.
A digital display provides accurate on-site readings.
The units provide continuous long-term, stable monitoring thanks to
the use of HORIBA-developed chopper monitors, which require no
lubrication and have long operating lives.
Japanese-made solid filters on all sides and a high-performance
output device ensure superior selectabililty, especially with regard to
interferant gases.
The complete enclosure of such items as the output device cell port,
the cell, and the internal piping ensures that they will not be damaged
by explosion and thus minimizing the possibility of secondary
explosions due to the ignition of sample gases.
The units have wide-range transmission capabilities (1 km standard).
The series offers four models: the general-use, pressure- and
explosion-resistant EIA-31; the low concentration-use, pressure- and
explosion-resistant TIA-31; the general-use, internal pressure- and
explosion-resistant EIA-31F; and the low concentration-use, internal
pressure- and explosion resistant TIA-31F.
