Sample Evalutions
 
Besides the grains of rice, we have evaluated single
particles of ion exchange resin. In this application, we have repeated pH imaging
in 1 minutes intervals and then, found that the proton was kept releasing until
10 to 15 minutes. Ion exchange capacitance, which is the parameter of the resin
performance, was quantitatively measured. Also, we have evaluated the activity
of the microbiology by the colony unit. Since the microbiology excreted acidic
byproducts as it metabolize, observation of resulting microscopic pH distribution
could thought to be related to their metabolic activity. |
