Over many years we have built up a cooperative relationship with ABX (presently HORIBA ABX), a French maker specializing in blood corpuscle calculation equipment that has received great praise in various countries for its technological strength. Then, in 1996, we welcomed ABX (presently HORIBA ABX) as a member of our group companies. This move has enabled us to carry out more mutual exchanges of technology, and we are fusing each other's technological powers in order to take on the task of developing new products. Moreover, we are cooperating with each other both in the sales and service areas, and we are offering products to the entire world.

We have combined HORIBA's advanced technology with HORIBA ABX's know-how to come up with a product that can conduct blood corpuscle calculations and CRP measurements simultaneously--an item that had not existed up to now. Our philosophy is to "make what customers truly find necessary at the time it is necessary." So with conceptions not bound by conventional thinking, we succeeded in merging two different types of measurements that could not be conducted on one instrument up to now, as the measuring technology is completely different. We have been proposing products that can offer plus merits to the medical care field, including, of course, this LC-270CRP (which is marketed within Japan under the name FL-270CRP, a brand of Fukuda Denshi Co., Ltd.).
